Cheng Gao is a senior at Boston University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. He has developed neuroscience techniques at the Institute of Biophysics in China, contributing to studies on neural circuits related to depression and anxiety. In the Farrell lab, Cheng aims to explore the hippocampus' role in epilepsy and learn more about various brain recording techniques and computational analyses. 
Cheng enjoys bouldering and hiking.
